Everything the batch needs, nothing it doesn't

True transparency

Overlays with alpha channels—transparent MOV and WebM videos, PNG images—stay transparent. What you see in the preview is exactly what renders.

Layer stack & timeline

Stack as many overlays as you like, each on its own layer. Drag a block to move it, drag an edge to change how long it shows, and make a block longer than its clip to loop it. Drag a layer by its name—or use its ▲ ▼ buttons—to change which one sits on top. A zoom slider takes the timeline from 1x to 10x when a block needs to land on an exact moment.

Save & reopen a batch

Hit New to clear everything and start fresh—it asks first if there's work to lose. Save Project writes your videos and the entire layer stack to a plain, readable project file, and Open Project brings it all back, settings and all, and tells you if a file has moved.

Placement & timing

Scale, opacity, and horizontal/vertical position per layer with a live composed preview. Set start and end times and alpha fades on any layer, and turn it or mirror it to taste.

Mixed sizes handled

Horizontal, vertical, and square videos in one batch. Each output keeps its own source dimensions, frame rate, and duration—no cropping, no letterboxing surprises.

Batch without babysitting

Pick files or a whole folder (or drag and drop). Per-file progress, cancel any time, retry just the failed items, and collision-safe output naming that never overwrites.

Your audio stays yours

Source audio is preserved unchanged by default. Want the overlay's sound too? Enable audio mixing with gain and balance controls—only when you ask for it.

100% offline

FFmpeg is bundled inside the app. No uploads, no accounts, no processing on someone else's server. Your media never leaves your machine.

How it works

1

Import your videos

Select individual files or an entire folder of videos—MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, and more. Drag and drop works too.

2

Choose the overlay

One transparent video or image. Adjust scale, position, opacity, timing, and fades while watching the live preview compose it over your video.

3

Render the batch

Start the job and watch per-file progress. Finished H.264/AAC MP4s land in your output folder with safe, numbered filenames.

Audio behavior, plainly stated

Default: source audio preserved

The overlay is treated as visuals only. Your video's original audio track is carried over untouched. If the source has no audio, the output has none either.

Optional: mix overlay audio

Turn on Include overlay audio to blend the overlay's own sound into the mix, with gain (0–200%) and left/right balance controls. The source's other audio is still respected.

FAQ

Which formats can I use for overlays?

Videos with alpha: MOV and WebM (and other formats your files use, if the codec carries alpha). Images: PNG, JPG, and WebP. Transparent PNGs and ProRes-style MOVs are the most reliable for crisp logos.

Will my vertical videos get cropped?

No. Each video in the batch is rendered at its own dimensions. The default placement scales the overlay down so it fits entirely inside each video and centers it—the same behavior the app has always had.

Does it need an internet connection?

Only if you click Check for updates. Importing, previewing, and rendering all run locally with the bundled FFmpeg. The update check is optional and only ever opens the download page—it never downloads or installs anything by itself.

What happens if a file in the batch fails?

The rest of the batch continues. You get a per-file result list showing exactly which outputs finished and which failed with the reason, and you can retry just the failures.
