RECURRING VIDEO WORKFLOW

Add the same intro to multiple videos—without reopening the editor.

Use an animated title, show open, sponsor bumper, or branded frame as a timed overlay. Set up the layer stack once, preview it against the footage, and reuse the project for a recurring series.

More than a clip pasted at the beginning

An overlay-based intro can preserve the source video underneath, use transparency, and coexist with other scheduled graphics. Each layer has its own block on the timeline, so a show open, persistent logo, and later sponsor message can share the same reusable setup.

Time each layer

Set when the intro starts and ends, then adjust its block visually on the timeline.

Loop when needed

Extend a short overlay asset across a longer range when the design should repeat.

Control the stack

Reorder layers so titles, logos, frames, and callouts appear in the intended visual order.

Keep source audio

Preserve the video's existing audio and optionally work with overlay audio when appropriate.

A repeatable setup for an episodic series

Creators often spend more time rebuilding familiar packaging than designing it. A saved Auto Overlay project turns that repeated assembly into a reusable production step.

Good fit: weekly shows, lesson modules, client series, podcast clips, campaign videos, and any release where the opening treatment stays consistent.
  1. Add the new episode files. Build the batch from the videos ready for this release.
  2. Load the intro asset. Transparent MOV and WebM work for animated artwork; PNG works for a static title or frame.
  3. Arrange the timing. Position the opening block, then add any persistent or later graphics as separate layers.
  4. Preview more than one source. Check that titles and important action remain clear across the batch.
  5. Save and export. Store the project for the next episode, then render the current set locally.

Intro overlay questions

Does the intro have to cover the whole frame?

No. Transparent artwork can reveal the source underneath, while a full-frame asset can visually cover it during the scheduled range.

Can a logo remain after the intro ends?

Yes. Use a separate logo layer with a longer timeline block while the animated intro occupies only the opening range.

Can the same setup be reopened later?

Yes. Project save and open support is designed for batches and layer stacks that need to return.

Is processing online?

No. Polley Auto Overlay processes the selected files locally on Windows with bundled FFmpeg.
