Content repurposing workflow

Record once. Review several short-form possibilities.

A webinar, interview, podcast, tutorial, or gameplay session can support more than one post. Polley AutoClip helps turn a long local recording into multiple clip candidates, so the creator can spend review time on possible moments instead of rebuilding every cut from the beginning.

A repeatable system

Separate generation from publishing judgment

1 · Analyze

Choose the tuning profile and clip settings that match the source material.

2 · Generate

Create several local clip files in one run rather than exporting each range manually.

3 · Review

Watch candidates for context, pacing, clean boundaries, and standalone value.

4 · Finish

Add captions, framing, branding, or platform-specific polish where required.

Source-specific planning

Different recordings create different opportunities

Interviews and podcasts

Look for complete answers, surprising statements, concise advice, and exchanges that make sense without a long introduction. Dialogue-heavy footage often benefits from a profile that respects context.

Webinars and lessons

Extract one clear concept, definition, mistake, or useful demonstration. The clip should teach something small without requiring the entire presentation.

Gameplay recordings

Review reactions, discoveries, combat, jokes, and plot moments. Faster gameplay and story-heavy RPG footage may need different tuning approaches.

Product and creator updates

Turn a longer explanation into feature callouts, launch teasers, workflow moments, or short answers to common questions.

Do not publish every generated file

More output is useful only when review remains part of the process. Remove clips that depend on missing context, begin mid-sentence, repeat the same idea, or do not represent the full recording well.

Think in batches: choose the strongest candidates for the current week and keep the rest as possibilities, not obligations.

A stronger review checklist

  • Can someone understand the topic within the opening seconds?
  • Does the clip contain one complete thought or event?
  • Are the beginning and ending clean enough to polish?
  • Does it differ meaningfully from the other selected clips?
  • Will captions or reframing be needed for the destination?
  • Is the moment worth associating with the original work?

Build a repeatable path from long-form to short-form.
