From user input to a finished creative output.

The problem

Turning a long recording into short videos involves finding useful moments, reviewing context, adjusting boundaries, and preparing a format for publication. Polley AutoClip brings those steps into a local Windows desktop workflow.

Automation with a review step

The app analyzes a video and presents ranked candidates. Users preview the results, trim clip boundaries, and reorder their selections before approving an export. The workflow keeps the creator responsible for which moments leave the application.

Output designed for publishing

Approved clips can be exported in original or vertical layouts, with vertical exports at 1080 × 1920. Controls for candidate count and clip length help tailor the review session to the source footage and intended output.

Engineering focus

The product connects candidate generation, editable clip ranges, review, and batch export. The key interaction is the approval boundary: analysis produces options, and the user chooses the final output. Processing runs offline on the user’s computer.

The result

AutoClip turns a long recording into a manageable review-and-export session for Shorts, TikTok, and Reels. Its product page and usage guide show the available controls and the workflow in practice.
