Add your media: ＋ Add files for one or more videos or audio files, or ＋ Add folder to process everything in a folder.

Pick a preset — Podcast, Talking Head, Gameplay, or Superchop — or set your own threshold and minimum silence. Editing either value switches the preset to Custom.

Click Analyze . Every proposed cut appears on the timeline as a red striped block, drawn over a waveform and time ruler. Dotted teal blocks mark regions you have restored.

Review the cuts. Click or drag the strip along the top of the timeline to move the play bar anywhere, drag the round handle, or use the arrow keys (hold Shift for 5 seconds), Home and End. Space plays and pauses; M mutes. Click a red block to jump to it, drag either edge to fine-tune the cut, or select it and choose Restore region to keep it. Turn on Preview tightened playback to hear the result with all removals skipped — untick it any time to listen to the original file instead.

Choose your export type: MP4 video, MP3/WAV/M4A audio, or both, and optionally an output folder. Then click Export . Export uses exactly the ranges you reviewed.

Each processed file is saved with a _smashcut name added, such as video1_smashcut.mp4 or video1_smashcut.mp3 . If a name already exists you can add a number, overwrite, or skip.
